Waterfalls have become a popular feature in water garden landscaping. They work particularly well with yards that have a natural slope to them. But if you don't feel like a waterfall, a fountain can still give you the same effect when it is set up in the middles of your water garden landscaping theme. Both of these features will usually use recycled water that moves through a pump to get the desired effect. You can find a wide variety fountains available at home improvement stores or local nurseries. The styles vary from rustic country to sleek contemporary, and just about everything in between. It is not so difficult to install your own fountain, but a waterfall might be a bit more complicated feature to construct yourself. The good news is that there are plenty of qualified landscaping contractor that might be able to help you with the job.

Ponds

Another fun part of your water garden landscaping theme is ponds. They are fairly easy to put together using

one of the kits that are available today.  A pond can include accessories like lily pads, aquatic plants or even fish to enhance the overall look. You can care for the fish in your pond with the right variety of plants that the fish can feed off of when they get hungry. You can construct ponds of just about any watertight container and ponds can be founded above ground or below ground level. These features can be the perfect addition to a water garden landscaping theme. However, it is important to have a degree of maintenance to keep the water clean and free of algae.

You can make your outdoor space even more perfect by adding water garden landscaping, whether you incorporate a waterfall, fountain or miniature pond in your yard. Many of these features will require a small amount of maintenance for the amount of enjoyment that you will get out of it. You will definitely earn peace, tranquility and beauty that your family and guests will be sure to enjoy if you choose the right water garden landscaping.
